Headteacher's Welcome

Our school is a transformational place of learning where children are taught to recognise the gift they carry. Our purpose of education is to teach the children to look at the world with the eyes of Christ and to challenge what is not right with society around them. St Gilbert is our patron saint, a man who never settled for the easy option but spent his life building a better world for others. Through educating them with the understanding of values, justice, love and forgiveness in the way we treat each other, as well as pursuing outstanding achievement, we arm them with the tools to be the future change makers.

We are a strong Catholic community who learn and grow together in our mission

Dear Lord

Help us to be welcoming to everyone and bear witness to the Catholic values of our school. Help us to have an understanding of how to care for one another’s welfare. Help us to recognise our full potential to grow in the image and likeness of God. Help us to remember to be thankful for your love in our daily worship. Through these actions, we spread God’s word and show our love for him.
